North Posey Football Week 7 VS Forest Park

North Posey dominated Forest Park in a 42-7 victory, with the Vikings controlling the game from start to finish. The star of the night was running back Jed Galvin, who amassed 238 rushing yards and four touchdowns on just 12 carries, along with an 80-yard touchdown pass on a reverse play. Galvin’s explosive plays, including an 80-yard run and a 66-yard run, helped North Posey score 35 points in the first half, putting the game out of reach early.

North Posey’s offense was unstoppable, combining 251 rushing yards with 155 passing yards. Quarterback Carter Shickel threw for 155 yards and a touchdown, while receiver Kade Buecher caught three passes for 99 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown. Dylan Murphy added a touchdown reception, and the Vikings consistently moved the ball with ease against Forest Park’s defense.

Defensively, North Posey was equally dominant, forcing multiple turnovers and holding Forest Park to 253 total yards. Galvin contributed two interceptions, while Jackson Tucker and Remy Johnson recovered fumbles. The Vikings’ defense was aggressive, blocking a punt and shutting down Forest Park’s passing game, which struggled throughout the night.

Forest Park’s lone score came in the third quarter when Jaxon Lueken finished a 69-yard drive with a five-yard touchdown run. Lincoln was the bright spot for the Rangers, leading the team with 76 rushing yards and 46 receiving yards. Despite a late field goal attempt by Reece Wolf that fell short, Forest Park couldn’t close the gap, and North Posey walked away with a convincing victory.
