Mount Vernon Wildcats Basketball Recap VS Vincennes Rivet 11-26-24

The Mount Vernon Wildcats kicked off their season in dominant fashion, securing a convincing 66-39 victory over Vincennes Rivet. The Wildcats showcased a strong defensive performance, setting the tone for what looks to be a promising season.

Mount Vernon established control early and never let up, relying on team defense and balanced scoring to cruise to the win. Meyer Robb led the charge with a stellar offensive showing, scoring a game-high 26 points on 10-for-14 shooting from inside the arc and 2-for-8 from three-point range. He also added 4 rebounds and contributed significantly on defense.

Greyson Buse chipped in 10 points, including 2-for-8 from beyond the arc, despite fouling out. Bryce Clowers added 9 points, going 3-for-3 on two-point attempts and grabbing 4 rebounds.
