After trailing 28-23 at halftime, the Wildcats clawed their way back with a strong second half, highlighted by a dominant fourth quarter where they held Cascade to just three points.
Mount Vernon started hot, winning the first quarter 18-14, but Cascade responded with a 14-5 second quarter to take the halftime lead. With their first home game of the season looming on Friday, the Wildcats look to build on this hard-fought victory and maintain their winning momentum.
