Girls Basketball North Posey At Mount Vernon 11-22-24

The North Posey Lady Vikings delivered a commanding performance, defeating the Mount Vernon Lady Wildcats 50-25. With this victory, North Posey improves to 2-1 on the season, while Mount Vernon falls to 0-5.

North Posey came out strong, shutting out Mount Vernon in the first quarter and taking an 18-0 lead. The Vikings maintained their momentum in the second quarter, outscoring the Wildcats 12-4 to secure a dominant 30-4 halftime advantage.

In the third quarter, North Posey continued to control the game, ending the period with a 43-12 lead after outscoring Mount Vernon 13-8. Despite a stronger showing from Mount Vernon in the fourth quarter, led by Gloria Guerrero's eight points, the Lady Vikings sealed the victory with balanced scoring contributions.
