The West Side Nut Club announced a list of donations to area organizations made from their Fall Festival earnings. They said the board voted on and passed donations totaling $377,100. Officials say the funds come directly from the 2022 Fall Festival and the Half Pot that is held during the event. A breakdown of the organizations that were approved are listed below.

The Posey County Council on Aging is offering free tax services through the Center for those that are 60 years and older with an income of $57,000 or less. This is being offered through April 7th. You can call or stop by the office to make your appointment. Posey County Council on Aging is located at 618 W. Eighth Street in Mt. Vernon.
Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari officials plan to fill over 2,200 positions to meet the needs for the parks’ 2023 season. The park will host its first two virtual hiring events this Friday and Saturday. During these events, prospective first-time Team Member will have 15-minute phone interviews with park management. Many departments are looking to fill positions early, especially for candidates aged 14 to 15, so interested candidates should visit the Holiday World website as soon as possible to fill out an application and schedule their phone interview. Applicants must be at least 14 years old to apply. Most of the positions require individuals at least 16 or older. Adults seeking seasonal employment are encouraged to apply. - Evansville Men's Basketball (5-25, 1-18) lost their final home game of the regular season against UIC, 82-76. Yacine Toumi had 20 points and 8 rebounds for the Purple Aces. UE wraps up their regular season on Sunday at Illinois State at 2:00 PM.
- From other Men's College Basketball last night...UK (19-9) earned an 82-74 victory at Florida. Indiana State (20-10) suffered a tough 89-88 loss at Belmont. SIU (21-9) defeated Northern Iowa at home, 86-63. Butler (14-15) edged Depaul on the road, 59-58. Noter Dame (10-18) stumbled at home against North Carolina, 63-59.
