The wait is almost over for the return of flights from Evansville to Chicago. Back in April, leaders at Evansville Regional Airport announced the direct flights would return in September. This time, the flight will be exclusively on American Airlines. Leaders say it’s been a long two years since the flights stopped. That’s why they worked diligently with American and local leaders to get them back. The flights start tomorrow and will be twice daily, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. They will also return to Evansville from Chicago twice daily.
