Officials with the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival say they have a winner for the Half Pot. Officials say the winner has requested to remain anonymous but sent a representative on their behalf. He says they are members of Christian Fellowship Church and live in Evansville. They are a married couple with children in the EVSC. The family says they plan to pay off their mortgage, their parents’ mortgages, give to nonprofits, take a family vacation, and get a pool. The Half Pot total is the highest in Fall Festival history with $1,823,320. The winner will get half the money, which would be just over $911,000. The Nut Club will give the other half of the money to area nonprofits.
