Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare, which serves Posey, Gibson, Warrick, and Vanderburgh counties, announced its roadmap for improving and expanding mental health services over the next three years. Southwestern leaders have identified ways to assist under-served communities, including LGBTQ youth, non-English speakers, and veterans. They also announced that they are now one of eight clinics in Indiana designated as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). That allows them to continue to provide essential services, with payment from Medicaid to offset the cost. If you or a loved one are in need of crisis services, you can contact Southwestern Behavioral Health's crisis line at (812) 422-1100, or you can simply dial 988.
