Thursday afternoon, the West Side Nut Club Half Pot reached a total of $1 million, and it’s continuing to grow. The Nut Club started the half pot back in 2019 and now it’s the largest half pot in the country. It’s a 50-50 split with half of the money going to the winner and the other going to the Nut Club. They take their half and donate it to non-profits throughout the city. They’re hoping this year’s winner will walk away a millionaire. The Nut Club has never reached the $2 million mark, but that’s the goal for this year. Tickets are still on sale and will continue to be sold until the end of Saturday night. You can find a full list and times tickets can be bought by visiting nutclubfallfestival.com.
