MSD of North Posey County had an e-Learning Day today. The staff uses these days for professional development training to benefit students and enhance classroom instruction. Students did not report to school buildings. Assignments were to be communicated from classroom teachers. They say to contact the specific course teacher if you have any questions.
The 5th Annual Mt. Vernon Football POPS Auction is coming up on Saturday, April 15th. Tickets must be purchased by April 10th. They are 30 dollars per-person, or 50 dollars per-couple. There will be an auction, games, raffles, food, drinks, and a live band. You must be at least 21 years old to attend. Evansville Police say a woman was killed during a crash late Sunday night. It happened in the 3500 block of Kratzville Road. That’s near Locust Hill Cemetery. Police say the driver was heading south, when she ran off the road and hit a tree. The coroner says the woman is 48-year-old Tammy Sue Stieff, of Evansville. She died due to "blunt force trauma to the head."
The Evansville Wartime Museum announced that one of America’s oldest operating airliners will be stopping in Evansville as part of its national tour from April 13th through the 16th. Officials with the Evansville Wartime Museum are hosting the tour stop at 7503 Petersburg Road in Evansville. Flights will be available on April 13th, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM and April 14th, 15th and 16th, from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Each flight experience is approximately 30 minutes, of which about 15 minutes will be in the air. EAA’s mission is to grow participation in aviation through flying, building, restoring and volunteer outreach, sharing “The Spirit of Aviation” and encouraging all who wish to participate. Flights can be reserved now via EAA’s Fort Tri-Motor website.

- In Major League Baseball tonight...The Cardinals (2-2) play the Braves in St. Louis at 6:45 PM and the Reds (3-1) are at home against the Cubs (1-3) at 5:40 PM.
